Gary Hudson founded CareVi to support people with intellectual/developmental disabilities to live independent, meaningful lives.
1991
CareVi was the first in Wyoming to provide comprehensive, community-based rehabilitation for individuals with acquired or traumatic brain injuries.
2024
CareVi received its 15th consecutive three-year accreditation from CARF International, the leading organization for setting gold standards in quality service and business practices.
2025
CareVi celebrated 50 years of helping individuals live meaningful, independent lives.
CareVi, previously named Community Entry Services, is a leading advocacy and service organization supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and acquired brain injuries in Wyoming.
CareVi was founded in 1975 by visionary Gary Hudson, who believed people with disabilities should have the opportunity to make their own life choices and be valued, respected, and contributing members of their communities. His goal was to create a trusted provider that would help individuals build independence and live meaningful lives.
Today, we continue to carry forward Gary’s mission by empowering people with disabilities to maximize independence and lead satisfying, productive lives in their communities.
The CareVi Dignity Division supports individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities in gaining as much independence as possible while remaining active in their community.
The Rocky Mountain ReEntry Services Division provides individualized support for people living with brain injuries, helping them rebuild skills and navigate daily life within their communities.
Incorporated in Wyoming, CareVi helps individuals become independent, working, and contributing members of their communities. CareVi is also a member of the Wyoming Community Service Providers Association (WCSP).
