How CareVi is Funded
CareVi is supported through a combination of state and federal service funding as well as community fundraising. While service funding covers many essential programs, it doesn’t always cover everything. Fundraising helps fill those gaps, ensuring we can provide the highest quality care, resources, and opportunities for the people we serve.
Funding Resources
Most of CareVi’s funding comes from state and federal programs, but rising costs mean those funds do not cover everything. Private donations help us pay our staff a living wage and provide essential around-the-clock care for clients, many of whom have no family and rely on us to live with dignity.

Expenses
CareVi provides three key areas of support for individuals: Community Living, Adult Day Services, and Vocational Opportunities. We operate accessible, affordable residences staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Currently, our 8-bed residence uses only 4 beds due to staffing shortages, and our 4-bed women’s residence is full. Because of this, we must turn away potential clients who have few or no other options.

Why Your Support Is Needed
Public funding helps support our work, but it has not kept up with rising costs.
Donations and grants help us sustain our staff and offer competitive wages.
Support is needed year-round, with some individuals requiring care 24 hours a day.
