County10's Charene Herrera interviews Shawn and Joe from CES about the upcoming state-wide charity drive for all nonprofits in the state as well as about the details of how CES is able to provide care for 150 adults with disabilities in WY: THANKS in part to the generosity of the good people of Wyoming whose contributions close the gap between what CES is reimbursed for by the State and what services rendered actually cost.
A sizable portion of our clients are people with 'acquired brain injuries' like from car accidents, falls, and other accidents. They come in all walks of life, profession, family and marriage status. There's no stereotype of what someone with acquired brain injury was like before... so they can be literally anyone - a friend, colleague, relative, neighbor, loved one.
And the cost to care for someone 24/7/365 is considerable.
