CES clients are fans of local High School football

There's always a client or two cheering on the Lander Tigers when they have home games at Lander Valley High School. This past weekend was no exception as Lynette and her cousin attended the game between the Tigers and Powell.
Lynette and several of our Lander clients are quite proficient in picking the winner of various football pools among clients and staff. In fact, most of the time, clients are BETTER at predicting which team will win than the staff are!
It's also essential for clients to get out into the community - both to mix and mingle and to be seen for the individuals they are rather than just an avatar of a category like "disabled adult".
Fact is, they're disabled in some respect, but very much 'abled' in others, like in empathy, attention to minute details, concern for others and more skills that are often overlooked.
CES clients who are served at the Lander based Gary Hudson Center regularly attend Lander football games, Rodeos, Powwows, and other social and civic events as part of the Lander community. Riverton based clients regularly attend Riverton High School games.
Powwows and CWC theater productions are also big hits for clients & staff to attend and volunteer with.
